Our debut short film, Puddles, delves into the complexities of long-term relationships and the challenges of maintaining them over time. This story celebrates love, resilience, and the unspoken acts of care that sustain relationships.
THE STORY
At the heart of Puddles is Ginger, a dedicated nurse who pours her energy into caring for others. Every day, she works tirelessly, often pushing herself past the point of exhaustion. At night, she returns home, barely holding herself together—melting, physically and emotionally, into the arms of her husband, Teddy.
Teddy, a sculptor and devoted caregiver, has embraced this quiet ritual for over 20 years. Each evening, he lovingly reshapes Ginger, rolling her back into form like soft clay, never tiring of this act of love. Until one day he isn't there to catch her.
Now, for the first time, Ginger must find the strength to pull herself back together—to stand on her own and fight for the love that has always held her up.
